This time of year\, many older residents may be isolated and alone or otherwise in need and may be less likely to receive a gift during the holidays. The Giving Tree will be at GoodLife and all will be welcome to come in and choose a tag from the tree that has a senior’s Christmas wish on it. All gifts will need to be returned by December 14\, deliveries to recipients will be between December 19-23 by Bishop Brady student volunteers.

This demonstration will show how movement and song enhance memory\, support cognitive processing\, reduces stress\, increases social relationships\, helps regulate balance\, supports muscle and joint health\, increases strength and flexibility\, regulates gait and increases quality of life. Yet\, you never truly know you are working towards all these goals because singing\, laughing and dancing masks it all in fun.
