Rain or shine except for hazardous weather.\nLocation: Various Concord trails\, first session at Sewall’s Falls \n***This class is in-person only*** \nDig into the fantastic world of fungi with a 3-session mushroom identification class with naturalist and educator Linden Rayton. Learn the characteristics that lead to a successful ID and practice them at three different Concord trails. Along the way\, we’ll learn about general mushroom safety in identification and foraging\, explore mushrooms’ role in the forest ecosystem\, and marvel at the diversity of fungi in our local woodlands. All locations given with registration. Participants should expect a mixture of walking and standing while on gentle forest trail terrain.
