We will be working in both pencil and charcoal starting with the still life. To begin we will start with just a couple of objects to draw. Demonstrations by the instructor will start each class session. Class will focus on how to sketch out and work up the objects to however realistic you wish them to be. A great tool to be used will be toned colored paper where shadows and highlights can be developed at the same time.
