In 1966 urban renewal caused the destruction of an area of Concord close to the NH State House. This power point program documents the efforts of the Pierce Brigade to save and move the home of Franklin Pierce, then located on Montgomery Street, to its present location at 14 Horseshoe Pond Lane. The renovation and updates are covered as well as some of the interesting events that have taken place at this historic house museum visited each year by people from all over the USA
