According to Feeding America’s annual Map the Meal Gap study and NH Food Bank’s estimated projections of local impact due to COVID-19, there are approximately 1 in 7 men, women and children in New Hampshire who are food insecure, meaning they do not know when or where their next meal will come from. A projected 71,000 additional people are food insecure and in total more than 197,000 across the state, a 57% increase.
Humans thrive best when they have reliable access to food. Join the Keene State College Dietetic Interns as they discuss the organizations and agencies throughout the Merrimack and Hillsborough counties that are working to increase access to healthy food for all.
