Let us look back and explore the lives of those that lived through the First World War. The country was being plagued with one of the worst influenzas out brakes in history. What did the city and state government do to response? During the war, the city’s largest employer Amoskeag Manufacturing Company thrived even with the labor losses with the US entering the war. How did they deal with labor shortages? When the war is at its end, what must Manchester face next? Come explore my years of research into these questions. The answer in many ways might surprise you.
