Watercolor is a wonderful and expressive medium. It is also very portable, and the materials and supplies can be easily carried to wherever one may wish. This course is designed for those with little or no watercolor experience. We will focus on wet and wet into dry watercolor techniques. We will explore color mixing, drawing, lighting and composition as mechanisms to paint the still life set up. Watercolors will be painted from photographs. Demonstrations will be held each day emphasizing the different techniques of the watercolorist expression and will be encouraged as the artist develops skill with the range of methods.
